Jay "Hawkeye" Zipperman
Founder
My home is in the mountains of North Georgia, and I've been married for over 30 years. I have a love for the outdoors and have a lifelong passion for mentoring teens to live their full potential. These values are the foundation for Mountain Wisdom. I have extensive experience working with teens from wildlife camps to the Boys and Girls Club of America. My goal is to inspire all people to feel a sense of purpose and know that they make a difference in the world.

Steve Crossley
President
I am a degreed Chemist from West Georgia University, and I have been working in the chemical field for over 20 years. I have been happily married for 11 years, and my wife and I believe in eating healthy, sustaining healthy practices and teaching others to do the same. I love being outdoors. I also believe in giving back to our youth. Volunteering for Mountain Wisdom provides me the opportunity to connect with nature, foster self-esteem and most importantly mentor our youth to have a more wholesome, deeper connection to what matters.
